What a huge day for our charity. Today was the official closing of Driven By KM, a charity that I started founding in 2017, with the mission to give financial support to families of those with terminally or chronically ill children on the Sunshine Coast. It has been a heck of a ride and supported by my amazing board of directors, our charity has given tens of thousands to locals in need on the Sunshine Coast. The time has come to close this incredible charity and the obvious benefactors of the donations remaining in our charity bank account, could only go to one place, another local charity that runs it’s donations in the same moral area that we have. The Board Meeting Surf Charity is also a local not for profit and run by surfers and it’s admin and running expenses are also covered by their own business and not from outside donations. We know that 100% of this money will be put to those in need of it most in the community thanks to the team behind The Board Meeting. Thank you to my Board who have been insanely supportive; Ryan, Paul, Katrina, Leah, Darren, Vas, Kimberly, Katelind and Penny. Thank you to Guy & Jess, Mark & Bev for the years of support and encouragement Thank you everybody who has been a part in any form of this amazing accomplishment from the start, I know that so many families have benefited from our charity on the Sunny coast and I am very proud of that.
